That picture looks great Alex :) Tom, won't the advantages of lowering the engine be counteracted by extra weight of the pump, lines, oil etc.

Never been on the original layout but I agree it doesn't look as good as I expected.

The RB 182 belongs to Chris (wonky striped bandit), LY 197 was Pete's (original boy racer), and Fletcher and I where in my LY Megane R26.

I love Corvettes and American cars :) I'd have bought a C5 Vette instead of the R26 if my job hadn't moved from Basingstoke to Newbury :( My next car will be a Corvette though!

No 256.6bhp :cool: It ran 265bhp when originally mapped by RS Tuning so it's got more to give as well.

His 2118s didn't feel much different in weight to my 15" OZ F1s ( both without tyres). I've probably given Fletch more stick than anyone about that but he had valid reasons. Its going on track soon though which I'm looking forward to seeing in my mirrors.

My insurer had no problems with it but probably varies from company to company whether they'll allow a decat.
