Its about the twisties, not the straights. Timing is crucial on these though, so as said. Could be that.

Hi James. Shocks direct from Renault are only about £30-£40. I would replace both sides at the same time while you are doing it. Yes, there are a difference between cup and non-cup shocks so make sure you ask for the non-cup. Its the bolt spacing which is different between the two. Hope this helps.
