out of the 100 182's on the net at the moment- about 5 are worth it-
So that gives around 1/20 return- if your looking within a certain radius of say 30-50 miles then thats probably 1/40-
Thats why you cant find a decent one-
Considering a train journey & return petrol for say 200 miles can...
Very common Fault- lots & lots failing-
Renault UK will know this so dont let them phob you off with its a non common fault-

The bill from a specialist like JMS iirc around the 1k mark- for taking the box out- then sending it away to be repaired-...
You will be very lucky to get a centre section- try ebay,dont bother with main dealer-

Hes in wiltsure dan- he could pop down to colshe & im sure you will have one lying around....
Its short journies that tends to knacker them- If JMS are doing the belts then they can check over the pulley- you will here it on idle if its shagged,however when its off they will 100% know

I still wouldnt take it to him.....- Half the bodge jobs that get reported on here- come from fully qualified mechanics....
Lets hope his list of tools doesnt include tipex for the timing ;)

Check for Cold start bunny hopping- Patch FOC @ Renault-
Steering wheel melting
Other than that not to bad-

front end had been sprayed- no black inserts.....
respray the wheels dark silver- OEM FTW-
MOT fail ( if your being fussy ) without the washers
Looks like arctic blue? or is it RB- hard to tell in the pics-
