I did the belts on mine and i have the Renault locking tools so that's not such a problem for me. Its not the best area but the car looks straight and shiny. :)

No problems matey, would hate to see your hard work going up in smoke. Ive got 10 mm -1 on the rear and 20 mm on the fronts, bought them from Dan @ M.A.D Have a look at my thread, i only fitted them last week. :)

Re: My PH1 172 Yeah i was shocked tbh, i bought AF illusion for the car as i wasn't to keen on the Soul. I gave them two coats, applied the 1st and left it for 20 mins or so, then buffed it off. Applied the 2nd and left it for about the same time. Seems to have worked.

It should say on the inside of the wheel. Or do a search on here.

Good work so far mate, id be getting that + side of the battery covered just in case it touches the ecu cover. I bought a new one from Renault it was about £10 or try and get a S/H one off of here. Also if your going to fit spacers to the rear then its better to do while your discs are off as...

What makes it worse is its not to far from where i live, tbh i wish it was in Scotland.....lol

^^^^Your wheels are OZ F1s which are found on the Phase 1 Clio 172 sport. Spacers can be bough off of here from Dan @ M.A.D

Re: My PH1 172 Right so after trying the 25mm spacers on i just could not get on with it. Couldn't deal with seeing it through my wheel and it just seem to be to far spaced for my liking. So i have now bought and fitted the 20mm ones that Dan @ M.A.D sells, i placed my order on Thursday...

A CTR for me would be good as i have two children 8 and 10 so the PH1 is to small when we all go out in it. ​But i cant bring myself to sell the Clio.

Id say so as long as you have enough thread, but you can buy them direct from Dan @ M.A.D on here. Ive just bought some 20 mm ones from him and they where a bit cheaper. :)

Cracking work there, just needs to sit a bit lower now. :) Oh and the cup washer has been fitted the wrong way around, it should go over the top of the spring.

Get it done, its one of the best mods ive done to my car. I have the engine and upper g/box mount and as Gaz said its no worse. Better throttle response and no more knocking. :)
