Re: My PH1 172
Yesterday i managed to spent a bit of time on the car as it was my sons birthday.
Got the beam off and one of the bushes out, the other side was being a right pain so that was left for today.
Brake pipe bracket that bolts to the underside of the car looked like it had...
Re: My PH1 172
Could of i guess but didnt know if this would mess the shocks up and the other problem was the rusting.
Don`t matter now as they have been sold
You sweet talking pirate. :)
Re: My PH1 172
Thanks for the comments.
Now im running spacers it looks as if it needs to be dropped a little at the front, with the Spax i can not do this.
It bugs me so they had to go.
Re: My PH1 172

Maybe, by the time ive done the bits i want then i guess the bad weather will be here.
If its not then i might use it now and again or i might start pulling the engine to bits as i have my cams now...:D
Im removing my rear beam to send it away to be powdered coated, i will need to remove the bushes before this happens.
What is the best way to do this?
Is it worth buying and fitting the Pure MotorSport bearing kit or just fit new Renault bushes? (its a road car btw)
Thanks in advance
Scott.
Engine would have been worth £400 ish depending on miles/belts.
So thats a chunk lost, he will also have to deal with lots of f**k wit's messers.
Also wrapping stuff up to post.
Where abouts is the car?
