i would boot her square in the f@nny. a bird is easy to replace a ph1 isnt

standard ARB and damper setup is too soft for uprated springs though makes them mis matched.

na can use your current subframe, i just ment undo the top suspension bolts, un do the subframe bolts and remove the full lot in one and swap onto your car.

sensor directly after the airbox, unplug the connector from it, take it out a blast and enjoy much more power under 2k, with quicker spool up and more smoke lol

i like getting into mine when ive been using the 172 for a few days, makes you a lazy driver though, the GT's have about 185lbft @ 2000rpm from memory and i rarely ever go above 2000rpm even when making decent pace! Think adams above has a good chunk over 200lbft too its been mapped

LOL!!! haha sorry its about all we have going for us is the torque and MPG! suppose you do have 20% more than a 197 under 3k rpm its not all that bad!!

what sort of speeds are you needing to do? im doing 100mph at 3000rpm in 6th from memory!

your spoiler is bonded onto the roof so you would probably need a lot of paint work done when yours is removed! thats if the boot lid is similar altho i think its different as you cant fit a GT spoiler onto a normal 197/200 iirc. id get a set of coilovers and spacers

personally its probably what i would do these days if i was going back to lower powered mk2 clios, run the RS setup inc brakes., parts would be cheap ish especially from a brakers, i would probably just drop the top suspension bolts out and take the full subframe and swap it over to your car...

i can find out what speed im doing in each gear at a set RPM with my 6 speed diesel version of the clio 200 box if you want (cant remember the box code!)

i put £800 coilovers on my 1.2 16v, had them properly setup and was the best mod i done to it! if you want to go 172 setup you will need hubs, bottom arms, ARB, id run brakes too not sure if you would 100% need to fit them though. possibly more ive missed out but thats all i can think of now...

not 100% sure, so many % stiffer, probably un noticeable i just fitted them since my old ones were burst!

same setup im running, 182 cup rears 172 cup fronts

i find the best way to lower it is to get like 10 mates in the car, cable tie the springs when they are compressed then take the mates out

what functionality does it have? if im right in thinking the megane one has different throttle maps and a boost guage, obviously no boost on the clio but what about the different maps, are they worth having on a 200 or a bit pointless? g meter doesnt interest me lol

Re: Friends 18yo daughter mk3 DCi's are even more reliable than the MK2's (which are pretty reliable!!) dynamique or dynamique S spec would be preferable but assuming thats his budget their isnt much chance of getting one! that one looks good though, if its only got 4 stamps in the book then...
