Acf50 or Xcf corrosion block are both great products. Acf 50 needs more regular top ups compared to Xcf which is thicker. Both excellent for winter corrosion protection, combine it with some corrosion block grease and your sorted. Ive seen the lanoguard, but not used it myself.

I went a bit tighter on my 172, but on the meganes i just use stock torque settings and never had one move. Just make sure cam ends and pulleys are cleaned up with brake cleaner.

As above timed up incorrectly if its locking up.
