I think you know the answer otherwise you wouldn't have started the thread. Get it done, it'd be a shame to ruin a low mileage 182 for sake of few hundred quid.

I got my OZ F1s off here for £120 and refurbed them myself for £45. Didn't realise they bend easily but they're track wheels so not bothered.

Sorry to hear gearbox has gone mate. You've got to fix it though as it'll be worth nothing as a non-runner. Sell your turinis, get a credit card or ask your parents to loan to fund the repairs. Hope it's not off the road too long.

The Ph1 and some Ph2 172s (like mine) have an input for the speedo so you'd need one with this. As said though I'd get the box rebuilt as it'd cost roughly same as 2nd hand box and you'd get a warranty.

I'm cancelling the meet then as it sounds like the roads are going to be pretty treacherous.
