Cheers, car is fixed now it was the offside driveshaft which went and luckily it didn't damage the diff. Cost £297 to replace the driveshaft and it's running fine again now :D
Yes, you'll need to get the tracking done need to give them a week or two to settle first. Place near me charged 35 quid to do the tracking and camber. That was very cheap though so expect to pay more than that.
Glad to say my 172 is fixed now. They found out it was where the offside driveshaft connects to the gearbox when they started stripping it down. Only cost £300 for new driveshaft to be fitted.
Good meet, nice bit of sideways action on the M27 junction :D Didn't realise that was Saner in the Beemer didn't look at the driver! Does shift thought he was police when he caught up with me doing silly speeds down M3 testing my car was ok ;)
Cheers, had even more good luck now as well. I'd ordered a clutch off eBay from GSF but they phoned to say it's not in stock so saved me hassle of having to return it.
