Ive rung the local DVLA office and they have said that I have to fill in the V62 - new law apparently. When I asked about driving the car they said that i MUST take it off the road. and even mentioned something about applying for an off road statutory notice whatever that is ?

Got my GTT 3 weeks ago and although it had a V5 it was already filled in, but not sent to DVLA, so I sent it off 2 weeks ago with my name and address. Went to tax me car yesterday and there is a new law (started on Feb 1st typical) which means u cant get tax without a V5 or a tax reminder...

U have to take the whole dash out!

Sounds like head gasket 2 me!

When the head gasket when on my valver I had a crappy 306 1.4 with about 200,000 on the clock. Was a right nail.

You can ALWAYS get a better quote if u can be arsed to look around long enough!

My GT has had a new engine and Ive got the clocks and the log book for the new engine. Can i swap the clocks or will it land me in small sh1t?

To be honest I wasnt that impressed with my valver. I probly wouldnt have another - well maybe matbrowns old one!

I owned a punto gt and i aint a r****d. They are good cars and it was probly quicker than my valver. Unfortunately it got wrote off by some prick at 70mph who thought it would be fun to see if he could get up my ass! I dont know why people slate them. I never had ANY problems with it.

there was also a white one in london with 29k on the clock i think it went for £2500

Yeah i used to have a Punto GT too, had a bleed valve but i was always too scared to use it!
