Small Increase? The volume of piping from front to back is huge!

Been tried a lot on MX-5. Called the 'turboot' lol It failed miserably. Just like most of the US ones do. Anyone remember the BMW M6 with this set up?

They are. The gearbox is only about 13 bolts too. I can't see the new owner doing it quickly though lol

Its buggered...... Well not totally buggered but its tatty. Needs a new gearbox, diff, will need tyres now, interior is very tatty and it'll need a new roof.

The V8 is all alloy. The centre of the turrets are only level with the 2nd row of cylinders so it as far forward as the rotary is.

That thing is shocking lol Why use the engine that's ruined so many kit cars, i do not know.

Its still hardly cheap. De-compression plate is a bit ott. Std bottom end will take 7psi.

I know a group of guys that'll do the conversion for £7k. Thier number is 01217 530415. For a full 700bhp V8 conversion it costs £18k. Bargain for what you get. There's a Z3M done too.

Reading fail Ash. It made 205bhp and 0.5BAR not 5 PSI.

It doesn't have to be. Could even be the other way round in some applications. From my Experience with MX-5's. 8 psi got me 197bhp with a turbo. Whereas 8psi with an SC only made 180. Pauls SC'd clio is on OEM management is it not?

You may have a problem somewhere else. Dodgy HT lead. Duff injector etc etc

Its acutally the compression of the air that heats it. Very little comes from the turbo oddly enough. Some superchargers get to over 180deg f inside!

Ah then my box might be of no use to him as bits of my diff exited through the diff casing lol

Stan does the Diff totally replace the OEM unit. Even the casing? Drive shaft mounts etc.

TBH there are some nice ones if you look around ant. I was offered a very tidy one on W plate with 59k for £25k. At that price i think i could run it for 6 months and sell for a profit. If I had the money there and then i would have had it. Maybe in a few more months...

Why didn't you go for a Turbo? Would have thought it'd be more up your street.

So a stroked 1.8? It ceratainly didn't look like a pinto/cosworth block. If it is the stroked 1.8 why use that engine?
