i have just got and fitted my k&n on my 1.4 rt spi, did anyone else have the same problem as i did of getting the rubber underside to sit exactly flat level with the metal base, mine doesnt look totally flat do you think this will make that much difference.

if you open the sunroof its on the outside, probably in the middle nearest the windscreen, you should be able to see its been pulled away, as andy.m says around the sunroofs runners might fill up so try and soak that up with an old towel or something.

providing you have a good offset you should be able to drop it 60mm. i have a 1.4 rt and i have got 16s with a 60mm drop front and 70mm rear with no rubbing at all.
