Not much in it at all, handling is on par with H&Rs, only difference ride comfort with H&Rs being slightly better. This is from my experience of Fletcher's H&Rs and my Vmaxx's on B road blasts.
Ktec is good, I have Vmaxx which is very good and both are well rated on here. Exhaust wise Ktec Stealth, Yozzasport and Prospeed in Cardiff are all good options.
I've had 145 mph out of mine on an autobahn downhill. My car has had no engine work but the shift light was on so doubt I could go faster even with extra bhp.
Do you mean putting new pads on with old discs? Depends how worn your old discs are, if your buying DS2500s which aren't cheap I'd spend the extra on new discs. Ktec do a good deal http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2772
You don't need bigger discs or new calipers for the track and oem rears are more than adequate. I run the same setup but with Tarox G88 grooved discs and don't get any fade.
