ive got a heatshield underneath rattling, oh and a rattle by the instrument panel, that a hard tap stops lol, the exhaust squeaks against the back bumper, umm the list goes on lol, oh but no creaky suspension!
coolant temp sensor, tells the ECU what the coolant temp is to enrichen the mixture if its cold, but when they pack up they think its 120 odd degrees and make it lean as feck!
isit like an electric milk cart noise?
where abouts on the belt isit coming from? if its near the A/C pump then its going to be the idler pulley.

If its higher than that, near the spring by the alternator...
they're avliable from ktec etc, and yes you could fit them ytourself, but if you dont have a camber guage, then leave it and take it to a company that does wheel alignment etc and get them to fit and set them up.
hmm hadnt thought of sellotape when fitting my splitter... was struggling with a drill, in one hand balencing the selftpper on the end and the splitter in the other.

Well i was bored, so decided to do a few things to the 172,
stripped out the rear, ported the inlet manifold, relocated the airfilter to the front foglight, and removed the fog, oil change, and plug change.
And wow, what a difference! it now pops on over run, thnunders on acceleration, and...
