I've said it so many times. It's the other people you simply cannot account for. You can drive to the conditions - I do. But I can't stop a 75 year old man pulling out of a blind junction on me can I? Or do Cup owners have ESP of a different kind? ;)
I've had to re-weld my Pro Speed. Whether it's a design flaw or an oversight I don't know.... but for £270..... Cheap as chips. It pulls better than it did and sounds superb. Would I go back? No.
You pay for what you get.
Check your brake fluid level. Also check the condition of your discs/pads.
It flashes due to the fluid sloshing around in the resovoir and going below the level sensor.
Good question.
Yet to drive the 197, but the missus's 1.4 Mk3 Clio Steering is f**king woeful. It tries too hard to self-centre - There's lots of resistance just around centre then all resistance just suddenly disappears. Quite unerving at first!!
Seriously, Griffs tutorial is first class. I still don't fully understand all tis newsgroup business but it's easy to set up and start using. Costs £2 a week and you get unlimited downloads. And it always max's my connection out!!
I've driven lots of diesels - they're great - 530d, 120d, Golf Tdi 150, VRs all sorts of modern oil burners..... they're brilliant if you want to go fast without trying. They're great at munching motorway miles. And the torque is fun to ride on. Decent MPG to boot - they make a lot of sense...
You obviously don't work with PLC's Roy..... or if you do you certainly didn't write the software for our scada based process control!!!
An which AB's are you using Ralph? 5's? 5/250's? Or the new Logix 5000?
