just re fitted my subframe etc after changing my box and noticed the steering had come out in the footwell so straightened the wheels and steeringwheel and put it back in to find its not driving straight anymore when the wheels straight, can you take the steeringwheel off and re align it to sort...
i got one yesterday for 1,2 16v, different but similar so should give you an idea.
£161+VAT plus return your old one but guy gave me it for £100 inc vat and told me he'd just mark it as returned for the old shaft lol
nice car mate, silvers nice in the dynamique, its crying out for the Apex -60mm kit tho lol a set of 195/50/15 Eagle F1's and transfer your tunes over and it will be mint
yep as said im on 130k on a 2002 02 plate 1.2 16v.
coil pack went at 50k miles and then it was fine till 130k where i blew the gearbox but even at that 2 problems in 130k isnt bad. should be back on the road on wednesday after having a s**t load spent on the new box (only has 8k on it)...
cat back with decat, induction, exhaust manifold, 2.0 16v F4R throttle body (not 172 engine, 2.0 megane/laguna engine i beleive?) fast road cams, headwork then a remap the list is endless as long as your money supply is too, 2.0 transplant is a better option but not always worth it if your cars...
Best value for money mod is to get BenR to match your inlet manifold as said above.
stick an ITG pannel filter in the airbox and find yourself a nice sounding exhaust, the Yozzasport ones are a VERY nice piece of kit. you could then get your ECU remaped to take these mods into account...
172 with super1600 rally kit on it, only kit i like for the clio but even at that i wouldnt put it on my car
cool tho
if you look closely it seems to have a ph1 dash so think its a ph1 172, they didnt do the S1600 kit in ph1 so would have needed converted to ph2 front end to use it i think.
i couldnt beleive how light the bonnet was when i lifted seans, i expected it to be slightly lighter but always wondered how you could tell if you had one or not untill i tried to open his i nearly put it thru the windscreen lol
ive got a mate that would probably do it much cheaper than any garage if you want mate (the guy whos doing my gearbox the now) give us a txt if you fancy it
woops sorry im getting confused with the guy who said taking out his spare wheel allowed him to beat a corsa lol
take any small engined car and pull away at 5mph in 2nd and it will judder, its because it lacks torque and no exhaust or air filter will sort that.
really really not worth it, if you want to spend a couple of grand you can get power increases, stick a set of motorbike carbs on it but for the money its not worth it.
s**t hot suspension, upgraded brakes, powerflex suspension and ARB bushes, front strut brace, strip everything out it and it...
60mm and not low enough looking to go 80-100mm next not to bothered about going lower would be nice as long as it still handles the same or even better!
i was in binns clio lowered 40mm on just apex springs and it felt standard to me compaired to my -60mm apex kit, had a lot less body roll...
i had to hacksaw my old 1 off lol ^^
car looks good, nice choice in wheels although the car looks too silver if you know what i mean, needs the black bump strips to brake it up a bit
