anyone spot me at night up the retail park i got there about 9 so was no point in going to the wheel by that time, had a look about but couldnt see any of you
lol my mate sorted it today, took about 5 minutes total, 2 mins to get the bonnet open 5 mins to fit the new cable
he got his hand up behind the bumper with a screwdriver, pushed the bonnet release spring with the screwdriver and bonnet popped open.
so there was no need for a new bonnet to...
it was starting to get dark so we never had time to work out where its snapped about, my mate had his hand up the bottom of the front bumper and actually had a hold of the cable but pulling it as hard as he could he couldnt get it to release? the cables in a rubber "sleve" is it not?
My bonnet release cable snapped yesterday so i took it up to my mechanics house and he had a play about with it, hes had to "brake into a bonnet" hundreds of times mostly on vauxhalls and says its easy but when it comes to the clio he just couldnt get into it!
any help or tips for him to save...
my cars policy only had 2 months left so when i passed i phoned up, declaired my wheels, suspension and induction kit, they wanted £17, yep only £17 extra for the mods (remember thats only 2 months tho) and £75 to add me at 17 whos just passed onto the insurance :D:D

mine jumps from 800-1500rpm for about 5 seconds then sits at about 1300rpm (Depends how cold it is) and also sounds like a 1.2 corsa for a minute or 2 (silly whine noise!)
id like more power from mine for overtaking and long straights but the bit i love about it is down a backroad on a nice sunny day i dont have to drive it on the limit and fly round corners to have fun, ist just a really enjoyable car to drive and the induction kit makes it a lot more fun to drop...
