    Haha, blackgold in the sun beats all. For 5 minutes anyway. Renault really did get the colours right with the 172/182's all of them were really good.

    Ive done over 300K in my 172/182/200 over the years. They are decent for long work commutes, cheap to fix, hardly break, fuel consumption is decent.

    Honestly, I thought I was robbing them. I bought 5L iron remover 5L tar remover 5L Nano coating 3 DA pads and I only paid £48 or something. Bear in mind that was in their sale which they do now and again.

    Few options, PMS sell the sleeve as seen in the pic above. Needs welding on though. the olive joint adapter you mention is available - hard to find - I know miltek sell one: The adapter is available from Milltek for £15+vat and the part number is F5086 hope that helps.

    Finally got around to trying some Auto Allure stuff I bought a few months ago. 5L iron remover 5L tar remover 5L Nano coating The Iron and Tar removers work really well, very impressed with them, they are both a thick consistency so linger on the panels for much longer than some competitors...

    Havent tried it myself but from reading your link it seems its a wax geared for longevity. I would probably opt for Fusso over that based on reviews and personal experience.
