Are you saying you are taking the needles off the dials or you are taking the whole dials cluster off. The cluster just clicks back in to place doesnt it with two pivot points at the top and a screw at the bottom.
You need to go to the superhub webpage and then log in , click advanced settings , click on wireless radio , then you will see this page:
obviously change it to best range. I very much doubt you will ever actually need more than 54mbps.

I have had it in the side sills before on my old 172, like when you are braking you hear the water gushing forward. You need to turn the wheel and remove the arch liner above the wheel and remove all the crap there. Even after I had remove all the crud I still had water in the sill , in the end...

They are a pain to remove , cut the outside and inside then you will see a load of copper braiding, keep pulling the braiding out with a small screwdriver and eventually you will be able to remove the inside magnet and then the abs sensor will be loose enough to pull out.
Its a hell of a job doing those rear beam bushes. The whole rear beam needs to come off ideally as the problem is that it is really hard to remove the old mount. It really needs a press to get them out or you have to destroy the old black rubber then hack saw them off.
