Nice read !! Love this kind of stuff.
Funnily enough I have been preparing some uprights/hubs this weekend too. The ones I had were rusty as hell but rather than shot blasting I have been using DEOX C in a bucket for the last few days. The rust just falls off and you are left with shiny metal...
might be worthwhile to get them to re cover your gear stick gaitor and perhaps seat belt covers at the same time so they match. I cant see from your pics if you have covers already for the seatbelt pretensioners . Are you going to have renaultsport embroidered into the headrests or anything...
I thought your wheels were f**ked from when you bought them off that guy on here? (remember the thread being comedy gold). Seem to remember the tyres being lethal and a wheel or two with flat spots.
Why would you want to bin the xenons ? I see you have a 182 cup anyway which originally left the factory without xenons so you wont have any problems swapping back to what the car originally had.
@choong-moo
Snappy ones are very nice and look more oem. I guess its what you want from the wheel, I wanted a much thicker wheel finished in alcantara so had Jack from Royal do it. The feel of this wheel is lovely.
The above is mine but got the idea after trying gambits wheel in his trophy. the below...

The great thing about the SWE1200 is that it comes with everything you need in the box but like you said you need a component type cable (rca cable) which you need to buy that goes between the back of your headunit and the subs amp. Something I encountered with this was there is not a lot of...
Thats the view of the bottom of the seat, the two silver round bolts are the ones that fasten the seat to the frame.
you could also go under the car with a deep 13mm socket and remove the whole seat +frame and rails.
In a way its quite nice to have a car that you dont have to worry about parking in supermarkets. Is this car one you bought in the last few months from Hertforshire for a touch over 2k? If its the one Im thinking of it has a lot of dings - my dent man charges £20 per ding but does a good job...
God have you still not bought one yet. Are you the guy that works in Chipping Norton. The engines last for ages, I had one just shy of 160k and the engine was fantastic, used no oil and pulled like a train. Its the other stuff like the running gear and interior that tend to fail before the...
@SaMk2 - have you tried wiggling the seat in all directions while pulling the seat lever. Does it feel like just one side is sticking or both sides.
If you still cant get it to move then get under the seat with a 5mm hex /allan key and remove the seat (quicker than unbolting from under the...
