My Mum's Mk1 was the same colour, Canary yellow, I was taken to school in it for years. I really love Mk1's they look amazing, the mad thing is at the time they were everywhere so they everyone just thought 'meh'. I'll just leave this here. :o

Also most of the uprated race and aftermarket parts for the Mk1/2 Escort will fit a Capri, so for a few hundred quid you can turn a bog standard shed Capri into something that handles quite well, relatively speaking.

I was trying to be conservative, but yours is like showroom so £20k is a healthy price, although there would be no point in selling because you wouldn't find a better Capri, unless a mint MK1 3.0 GT came up for sale.

I've seen rare Capri's in mint or fully restored condition go for nearly £20k, i'd say that one was worth between £12-£15k easy.

Most of the Clio stainless manifolds are made in China, I was going to buy one years ago, but luckily CS set me straight and a bit of research proved they were right. Not saying yours is cheap tat as I don't know what you've bought, but 90% of the time they're no better than standard.

My non cup 172 has them, I doubt any previous owners put them on, everything on it was standard when I bought it.
