And now aftermath is in the store. Another 1.6gb download. Takes the piss. Thought the earlier download was including aftermath, seems it was just another ps3 system update.
Go and have a look at a few makes, find what you like the feel of, how it works etc and then I'd buy something second hand.
Not sure on Nikon's personally but I'm pretty sure you'll pick up a decent second hand Canon for that price. I think my mate picked up a 40d with kit lens, battery grip...
The sphere camera does look good. My mate managed to get it on his phone (flashed I think) the other day.
Should be out mid November for me (nexus) I think. Some other little bits on the update too like shorter timeplapse gaps will be pretty good.
I tried a couple of shots last week and they turned out OK. Still a lot of improvement to be made though. All shot with a Canon 550d and a Sigma 105 2.8 macro lens.
These were last weeks attempts.
Week 46 - Dancing paint experiment (Re worked) by A_Cro, on Flickr

I have some ideas, its just getting the time and to the places which is tricky. I haven't been thinking about self portraits although I may end up doing that.
Not sure about the s3 but when I updated my nexus from ICS to JB the panoramic camera turned s**t. Also the focusing on the nexus seems to have gone downhill too.
As for battery etc, they seemed to have improved. Don't use Bluetooth so can't comment on that.
Went back to the dancing paint earlier to re work some of it as there was a fair bit of noise.
Cleaned up better I think (although it looks like there are some massive dark pixels on the right hand side of the black, not sure if thats my laptop or the fact that I've uploaded it over mobile...
Been trying some "dancing paint". Not got the results I wanted but I'm happy enough with this one for my first attempt.
Need to make/buy a sound trigger and make some space in the garage to set up a little studio area. Also need to use a better speaker. Probably try to get a cheap sub instead...
Its good. Its a lot better than revelations but they have over complicated things IMO with the assassin wheel, weapon selection and general in game menu.
I do really like the game though. Multiplayer seems the same as they all are (I rarely venture online with it though)
Some of the side...
First time I've managed to get to a display with the camera. Last year we went to this one to find out it was cancelled (we waited for ages too!)
Wasn't really sure what settings to use so it was a bit of trial and error. 2.9GB worth of files later and I liked these three although I will have...
Both good shots there, Brazo & Yanoo.
Took this yesterday morning. 55-250, full zoom and moving pretty quick on a boat. Cropped a bit in LR so its not very sharp but I quite like the final result.

Yeah traded medal of honor for it today. Had a very quick play and it seems good.
Some glitches / lack of attention to detail in parts (during a conversation one of the character manages to speak without moving his lips), some locking on to targets when shooting is a bit iffy too.
I'm off...
It should be to your account. I had my old ps3 stolen and when I got a new one ,all of my old online bits still worked (passes for cod etc)
Just go in to your download history on the store or account management i think, you can get anything you previously had.
Well I've just finished the campaign and I'm a bit disappointed with it. Really short. Not very interesting. I'm not surprised the overall reviews aren't that great.
Not massively keen on the multiplayer aspect of it too. The whole menu thing is bloody awful. Choosing your soldier...
