I've seen them going for £1,200-£2,500 in rough condition, mint one's are £3-£7k,
but a mate of mine builds off road landy monsters for a laugh,
he's told me if we can get a decent pre 72 lightweight chasis for around a grand, (difficult but possible if a non runner)
he'll drop a disco engine...
I didn't put Mustangs in as they've already been posted, but I friggin' love em'
The Chip Foose Eleanor is amazing, but for me the clean looking 67/68 fastback from Bullitt is the one.
When my gearbox exploded a couple of weeks ago I bought a replacement from a breakers,
he had loads of 1*2 parts, including a couple of F4Rs one of which I think was a cambelt failure
he mentioned pulling it apart and selling the useable bits.
He might have a sump going, worth a ring anyway and...
Catching up with the weekends BTCC on my day off,
and saw what I thought was one brave pigeon standing on the track during the Ginetta junior race,
only to realise it was actually the dumbest.
Ok, sounds like I should be able to figure it out then,

I've got 2 months before the MOTs up, i'm sure i'll be able to get it fixed in that time. lol
Cheers for the advice lads. :D
Realised today that my hazard switch no longer works, there's no longer a click when you press it. :dapprove:
I've done a search and read a few threads about it, I know I can get a new one off ebay or from Renault, for £20-£30quid
the thing is a few threads recommend removing the stereo to...
Definately ring them, when my gearbox exploded this guy was very helpful on the phone in terms of telling me what a refurb will cost
and what's involved from a slight refurb to a full rebuild.
Unfortunately my box was shredded so I just bought one from a breakers for £270.
Today at 6:20pm A444 Phoenix Way, between the EuroCarParts & Sainsburys roundabout.
Modial Blue 172, with cup spoiler and stealth exhaust with a very low centre section.
Plate started with HY52, I think.
I was behind you for a bit in an Iceburg 172.
That's mental!!
The BTCC should replace the Porsche Carrera cup with reverse racing,
it would be a hell of a lot more interesting, not to mention hillarious.
F*cks sake, c*nts!!!
Gutted for you, although I half expected to see it burnt out in the park I walk my dog,
alot of Coventrys stolen cars end up there.
Covs a sh*thole, alot of places have bad areas and some decent areas,
Coventry doesn't have any nice areas, it just degrees of poor people.
I'm 36 and i'm starting to realise i'm surrounded by kids,
although i'm not quite sure what I should be driving at my age, something German and boring I suspect.
I'll stick to my fast, loud, anti-social, French tin bucket.
