How much do you pay for Sky/Virgin?
I'd check the contract. Ours was 50 quid a month for 12 months, but then went to 100 a month. Problem is it was an 18 month contract, so had 6 months of 100 quid- Ol’ Tarby

That's the antenna cable. You may have to pull that adaptor out of the socket. Can't remember what the standard connector is on the renault unit- Ol’ Tarby
