Well I've owned 182 no.2 for over 12 months now and I'm ashamed to say that up until now I haven't found the time to get her looking clean and take some decent pics.
After a short shopping trip with a couple of mates I thought this was the perfect occasion seeing as both of our clios looked...
Revival of an old thread! Saw you driving it last night i think, noticed the 3/4 plate. There will be another BG around here soon, my mates about to get one...tempted to sell mine and get an LY or something less common lol!
Yes definitely! My mates picking up 182 at the end of the month so thats one more! Lol. I've seen you around and about too so it'll be good to put faces to names!
If its the guy I've seen a few times and spoke to at tesco he's got a 197 too...does post on here now and then. I think he lives in wordsley. Saw you last night btw James, turn your bloody fogs off you big chav Lol
Well she's been MOT'd today (a day earlier than planned) and I'm delighted to say she passed :) All that was needed was a rubber for the exhaust...
Money's tight this month so couldn't afford any problems!
As above really. It's served me well for a few years however has now been upgraded to s slightly newer version. Still works like new and would be a addition to a clio with it's red lighting as it's quite subtle and suits the interior well :)
The item has also been listed on eBay so feel free to...
Thanks again. I feel like a plank not knowing these basic things but I'm learning slowly :) probably the brake switch then, changed it last summer so maybe it's not fitted properly :S
Thanks very much for the advice. Pretty much everything non-technical there is fine including brakes and tyres etc as they've recently been changed and horn was fixed last week. Only things I'm concerned about are the exhaust (hopefully no leaks etc) and the abs light. It intermittently comes on...
Well it's that dreaded time of year for us Renault owners when this rolls round and need to get her booked in.
Well it comes to mechanical things I'm clueless and don't want to get screwed over by someone talking bull.
Anyone on here local to Stourbridge who's a tester? I'd like someone...
Anyone on here? Was stopped with hazards on on the opposite side of the road to me. Was possibly a witness of a bad accident with a car on it's roof! Must have only just happened, popo and ambulance were on their way
Re: Abs, traction control and service light came on as i pulled away from traffic lig
I have this too from time to time. What bulbs do you have in the back? I had mine checked by a mate who used to work for renault and he said no faults came up but suggested changing my LED bulbs to normal...
Ok, my knowledge of all things mechanical is shocking so please excuse my description here but i had what sounds like a similar problem and was a stupidly simple fix.
Lift the bonnet up and check the metal plate directly infront of the engine/engine cover. I think its the fuel rail, or at...
Just figured out what you're saying (lol, slow i know!) and yeah it's fitted the same, it does hang down. I think it would look pretty weird wrapping the bumper tbh...Must be the camera angle
I think I know what you mean now (well sort of lol). I'd imagine i've fitted the same as everyone else although the pic angle/colour of car may make it appear differently. The flappy bits are on the top, nearest the bumper as I screwed through these to fix it in place more securely
iirc it only goes one way...i think it's got a soft rubber lip on one side which i put self tappers through :S
Can't really remember tbh, just did it without thinking lol
Yep :( well the drivers side does, passenger side is still like new :S I've been reading up on the guide though so going to give it a go soon.
Nah it's ok, id just given it a quick wash but hadn't dried it very well! Lol
