dci 80 usually map to about 110hp, and 100's usually map to about 130
EDIT: around town the 80's feel quicker as the smaller turbo has less lag, infact theres hardly any lag, where 100's have more lag but a bigger punch high up the revs
yeah sure would, 190lb/ft of torque against the 172s 145lb/ft had a good shove to it! 172s would just crawl past! but if you caught them in the wrong gear you would pull on them until they wound up lol
my electric one was fine, to be hhonest if you take the sunroof off, clean the seal and drain...
clio looked good in first picture, stickers are hideous though, ruined that focus too!
remove the stickers and tidy up they wheels and I bet your 182 would look good!, engine bay looks good!
mine was mapped and filter, decent rubber, suspension and brakes, was a riot!
if your 1.2 is keeping up with there diesels then they don't have very powerful diesels!
epic cars, mine would give a 172 a good run for its money from 40-100!!
worlds apart from a 1.2 16v but definaltey a compromise between economy and performance, if you just want the performance then 172 all the way!
good honest opinion, that's much the same opinion I had of it when I ran it on my last 172, cant wait to get my rs tuner unlocked from my twingo and do my 172 now!
172/182 are very supportive, they are half leather half alcantara apart from in cup models where you got cloth trim versions but still just as supportive.
Dynamique, Extremem & campus sport models used the same supportive seats bug again cloth trim.
base model spoiler
dynamique spoiler is the same as a 172 one except before 2004 they were black plastic, and after 2004 they were colourcoded...
172 non cup and 182 non cup spoiler is the same as the above except always colourcoded.
172 cup and 182 cup spoiler (also 182 with cup...
cheers guys
aye john got it cheap enough so thought id spend a bit on it get it driving mint like they should! need to sort out rubber for it as its running brand new budgets all round by the previous owner.
just cant decide between going 15" for cheaper tyres and better feel and using my F1's...
thought I better update this, ill get a mod to move it to the clio projects section too since this is of course what its turned into lol!!
ordered all 4 engine mounts, coolant temp senor, thermostat and type D coolant...
removed the powerflow stealth and got a genuine system as I...
buying a car without driving is something that depending on the car doesn't usually bother me, I didn't drive a 200 before buying mine but I was happy with the reviews, I had owned most other clio RS so I knew what to expect and it delivered!!
this new one is too "different" for me to order...
i may be wrong but I believe the 100 isn't a dual mass but the newer 106's are.
there is horrible roumours about gearbox issues on dci 100's yet none of us who actually owned one had an issue with them lol, the box isn't the nicest, its the same feel as the twingo RS and new clio non RS models...
must get finger out and see if I can get car in some sort of nick to go down, I had promised myself no more money spending this month, things cost me about £1500 already lol
they are reliable if looked after, problem is only a handful of ones have been now, but once you fix all the common problems and faults then they are pretty bullet proof if you keep looking after it!
