Looking for a bit of input guys, when considering inlet temperatures and intercooler choice, generally what is the ideal sort of figures your looking for, ambient temp + ??? im running around ambient temp + 25-30 degrees C and this to me seems very hot!?

be interesting to see what dealers let them go for, I paid something like 15k or there abouts for my 200 non cup with a few options, and sold it 10 months later for 11k, granted that was never part of the plan or id never have gone brand new but I agree one of these would be financial suicide...

JC5 in a 182 is limited to 200NM, which is what the car has as standard!!

Do a search there is loads on here. Generally as long as it pulls up thru the revs with no warning lights on full throttle it will be sound

My 172 used to punish my mates ek9 once we were above 90/100mph, it was running 190hp though so i imagine a standard 172 would be very eavenly matchrd

my local dealer has a liquid yellow pre reg with delivery millage and cup chassis for £13,995 no recaros though but that's window price theres probably a massive chunk available off that!

I noticed a massive difference in people moving out my way when i fitted hid's to my gt dci, was no longer a problem but they were in projectors so looked factory i always assumed it was because people assumed it was a rep mobile tanking down the outside

I see what you mean, the airbox is removable on this one its not part of the rocker cover just bolts onto it/inlet manifold cant remember years since ive worked on one. on the later engines the airbox is part of the engine cover and all comes off in one go EDIT: curious how much digging you...
