Cams are the ONLY way to get any power out of it without the use of ITBs or a blower. Even with cams, don't expect much over 190bhp Cams + ITBs should see you just nudge 200.

No mate just lift the seat bases out and then pull the covers off. Should be fairly easy to spot where you need to pull once you pull the seat base up and have a look

RS tuner'd. Did it on my last 172 aswell, and I still say, pound for pound its the best mod you can do. Not a massive increase in power like you'd get on a turbo motor, but drivability is so much better. Fattys induction kit sounds nuts at 7500rpm too. Won't be goin up there too often though
