With the 5800X and 6900XT overclocked and both at 100% under stress test I pull 670w max. TDP is 455w.
Hopefully snag a 5800X3D when it's released and it's not stupidly priced.
Some more bits for my watercooling setup turned up today. Just need to choose one more rad and a couple of pipes.
She's a lil rippa
With everything levelled up my preference is this build but it can be tweaked.
Important attachments are the barrel and Gorenko mag for the fire rate.
DPS and TTK match or beat the best SMG builds and give an extra 10-15m range before any damage drop offs.
MG42 is good with the right attachments.
As @Cub. said I'm rocking the AS44 quite a lot. For all ranges ideally you need it about level 55/56 but it's usable for close to mid range early on.
Zero issues with the new map. Enjoying it.
The map is a nice change to Verdansk. Would be good to be able to play both but 0% chance of that.
The extra colour is welcome, but then again the Eastern Bloc is supposed to be beige and depressing.
But like @Cub. I'm on PC.
Hopefully this will port over to PC quite well on AMD cards seeing as they power PS5 and XSX.
I still have the original Enter the Matrix game on CD-ROM from 2003. Back in the days of DX9!
Z690 with DDR4 or wait until early next year for the updated Ryzen 5xxx with 3d cache which should be quicker than the Intel 12900 etc. There's not much in it as it is so with the uplift in performance they're expecting AMD should take the crown back.
AMD will be going to AM5 and DDR5 late next...
Go for one with the XTX GPU, it's got a higher binned core.
Sapphire 6900XT Nitro+ SE
Asus 6900XT LC
Powercolour 6900XT Red Devil Ultimate
MSI 6900XT Gaming X Trio
I've got the Sapphire one and it regularly runs at 2500Mhz with no overclocking.
