It'll be pad deposits I reckon. The only time I've managed to avoid it with Ferodo pads is when I've run grooved discs.
The CLs seem better but a few people have issues with them of the pad coming away from the backing plate. That's mainly on the RC6 rather than the 5+ though.
You could try...
10w60 was specced by Renault for the Clio Cup cars. A lot of the trackdayers run it.
I personally run 5w50 although I would be happy enough running 10w60.
On my last video I did a 2.25 on a cold wet track with a passenger and traffic. I haven't got any other referance. It would be nice to know what it can do on a dry track with no passenger or traffic.
Mine is 920kg with a tank of fuel on the Oulton Park scales. I still have standard doors, boot, windows, seatbelts, headlining, heater, radio and speakers, seatbelts etc.
On the to do list is fibreglass doors, tailgate, poly windows etc.
It would be incredible having all that land, very jealous! Where do you find the time to work, do the car and look after the animals/land?
