paul is my name, on the connection manifold to cat there is a bolts and nut but in between there is a spring. when i took the old cat off it was a bit floppy when i put it back on it was fine must be the spring at fault.

on your mums scenic if its the key try holding down the button for around 20 secs cant remember when u finish the little light will come on/ go out on the key let go of the button and press it again quickly see if it recodes to the car.

yea by the poly v belt area i would say i expect the belt cut through it. you had a cam belt lately

it think its right at the back over the engine near the bottom and its behind a heatsheid on these i think easier to do on a ramp

drain is blocked by the sounds of it, if no water is coming out at rear of engine when a/c is on its blocked, on a cold/meduim day not much water comes out.
