    My drive shaft sounds like it is knackared. I found the CV boot off a few weeks ago and yesterday it started to make a strange noise, and now the ABS light is on. Is this linked?

    Mine has just come on when i jacked my car and started the engine. My CV boot had come off and there was grease over my ABS ring etc. I cleaned most of it off.

    How far or how long can you drive a car if the CV joint or drive shaft has gone? I ask as i think mine as gone. It is grinding and pulling to the left.
