dci100 runs similar box to 197 i beleive, but also has a different bottom end to a dci80/65. your best bet would be dci100 bottom end with dci106 6speed box
should have punched power ranger cop in balls and drove away, if they appear at your house then they can read your plates so shouldnt have been stopped in the first place

lol they mods at most would give 10bhp taking you to around 1.6 16v performance yet your doing 0-60mph in 2 seconds less. must be the removal of that iron filled rear bench, grille and spare wheel, wonder what sort of gains you would get from removing that fire extinguisher?

you wont get any gains on the 1.2, the standard throttle body isnt small enough to cause any sort of bottle neck, that engine doesnt need much air to run! plus the crappy plastic inlet manifold is the main problem on it being so long, you would probably get better gains swapping to a newer style...
its due its 2nd cambelt change next year so make sure its had its first at least!! they are every 5 years or 72k what ever comes first! many think its just 72k!
check exhaust for blowing joints or welds
rear damers leak and make the handling "interesting"
engine mounts wear and brake over...
