What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Not until Alex's stupid face has been punched by someone until he stops making crap videos.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Autoalex is shite, and most of the content his minions are putting out feels pretty much copy-and-paste. It's just endless repeats of "we bought the cheapest XYZ", coupled with desperation to pretend they're the original Top Gear trip by doing low-rent knock-offs of their road trips. They can...

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Me too. It's getting worse and worse. It's an instant turn-off from me. Mind you, those channels where they just endlessly buy cars is pretty boring too, as they're just churning stuff out for content, not because they're actually passionate about it.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I know a few on here like a bit of rally content. This channel popped up in my feed recently, posting a lot of random clips from the '90s, including some testing footage and the like:

    Nurburgring visit - need help!

I don't think you can be a petrol head in the UK/Europe and not try to go at least once, even if you don't drive it. A lot of the guys I know try and go and quieter times in order to drive it but, to be honest, I'd rather go on the mad busy weekends like Easter and just soak up the atmosphere to...

    Nurburgring visit - need help!

I've been a few times, but not done many laps as a driver. A friend of mine rented a Clio some years ago and we split the cost between 3/4 of us so we got a few laps each. I'm glad I did it but, once I ticked the box, I have never felt particularly inclined to drive again. Given the risks of TF...

Oops I did it again... Adey's Clio 200 EDC

I think I would have preferred some kind of multi-spoke, but I like them overall. I think the OEM wheels really let the MK4 down, so these are a solid improvement.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

In China for work and there are loads of tiny little electric cars everywhere. Most of them are entirely interesting, but the way this one had been decorated made me chuckle:

Opinions and Experiences with Ramair Filters?

It might depend on what you're planning and what car it is. If it's for a 172/182, 100% go down the induction kit route, as they sound brilliant. In fact, I'd do that whatever kind of Clio it is. I think panel filters are a bit of a waste of time in reality. As for Ramair, I've used them on...

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I do find those videos get a bit "samey" after a while. As impressive as it is, there are so many times you can watch a car jump or do donuts. That said, actually making it happen is still deeply impressive, and Pastrana is a grade-A lunatic for the stuff he does.

The resurgence of the iPod/MP3 player

Like @Adamm., I just have a load of music saved onto my phone, a lot of which is from old CDs, some of which is downloaded. Don't use Spotify or anything like that. Obviously means I don't have more recent stuff though, judging by what I hear when I have the radio on, I don't feel like I'm...

    Clio 200s

The first part is fine, but why does "the scene" matter? You don't have to buy a cap or have a blue oval tattoo to own one. Perhaps I'm the weird one, but I don't understand the, "I don't like <insert xyz car brand>". There are good and bad cars from all brands. Generalising just means you...

    Clio 200s

He drives old Volvos, so is image that much of a concern? :ROFLMAO: Joking aside, I must say I can't really buy into the whole "image" thing. The reality is, 99% of people don't care what car you drive and, even if they do, does it matter? I buy cars for me, not for other people.

Don't care what anyone says, RB is the best colour for the 197/200.

Except they're not. Fantastic cars and probably the last great small-ish hot hatch.

    Clio 200s

I'm sure but, having spent many years living in rural Norfolk, such things were never that common. One of the many perks of living as far away from other people as possible.

    Clio 200s

The secret to that is not living in a shithole. I've known a few people with them and not had any problems.

Funny really, as they chose a car that was in a film set in Miami, rather than Tokyo :ROFLMAO:

    Clio 200s

Yeah, I think all 197s/200s have the same steering rack apart from the 200 Cup, but it's only a few percent quicker. There are a few different anti-roll bar thicknesses across the models, and the springs and dampers are different too. Everything else is the same suspension and brake-wise though.
  22. massiveCoRbyn

    Clio 200s

Had two 197s, basically the same as a 200 in reality, as the mechanical differences are tiny. The Cup has a quicker steering rack, but they're all pretty similar otherwise, and you can switch a lot of bits in between (I fitted 200 Cup dampers to my 197 for example). I really like them to be...

I'm sure I saw someone say that the damage is only visual at the moment, so doesn't affect the way the car drives.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Saw a Cybertruck today. It had been wrapped. It still looked s**t. Look at the panel gaps :ROFLMAO: What an absolute turd. It's sad in a way, because the tech underneath is good. If they'd actually made it like a normal truck, it might have been quite successful. Instead they let Musk do...

    Bumblebee 2 featuring LY R26

Looks like a great trip. Absolutely love the Nurburgring, it's such an amazing place, even just to visit and watch. That said, I think I'm the only person in the world who thinks Pistenklause is totally over-rated. The place itself is nice with all the memorabilia, but I think the food is...

    Assetto Corsa Rally

Really interested to see how this develops. I hope they make a console version too, as I assume it will require a pretty meaty PC to run otherwise, and I can't be doing with buying another computer.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I think car content is just about one of the worst things you can do in reality, unless you're just commenting on news and stuff. Someone I went to college with reviews camera equipment and has just under 1m subs now, so has done pretty well out of it, so it's definitely possible to make a...

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Don't watch much JayEmm. I don't dislike him particularly, but I do think he fancies himself as a bit of a Top Gear type.
