think i read hes running a paddle clutch already so that shouldnt be an issue, shafts could be a problem although if you watch what your doing and dont lauch it hard or wheelspin they should be ok
rear washer could be disconnected where it joins the spoiler, does the rear washer work?
eather that or what sash_clio_girl said, the rear cluster. although mine has a habit of blowing the light fuse when you screw the rear passengers side cluster in to tight and then my n/s lights...
lift up the rear seat and see if its got a puddle under it on the passengers side, if so then its the rear window washer pipe thats leaking, seen a few of them do it, just remove the plastic pannel between the rear window and rear side window(bit the seatbelt comes out) and reconnect the pipe.
i wouldnt pay over a grand for it,
mine is on 145k miles, 02 plate dynamique interiorlooks brand new, steeringwheel has no wear, 1 parking dent is only downside, not 1 single swirl in the paint, not 1 kerb mark on any wheel, 4 brand new tyres, engines on 50k, gearbox on 10k miles 2new...
where do i start...
the exhaust is extremely loud
the ride is VERY stiff and harsh
its that low it catches everything (had to raise it because the bumper was catching dips and bumps in the road!)
its gutless before 3k so you need to kick its nuts in everywhere you go (back to the exhaust...
probably coilovers although tbh i wouldnt spend £700 again on suspension for a 1.2 16v clio so probably just apex-60mm again that was impressive for the money.
along with a 172 lower dogbone mount with k-tec/powerflex bushes and id leave it at that.
4 bearings after 16k miles?!!! you got 22" wheels or something lol
i always replace mine in pairs when doing them but im not paying a garage to do it so its not really any hastle anyway.
go for a full cat back system £250-£300 usually. ive got a Powerflow one from MotorSport World and very Highly recomend it.
not overly loud when croozing but when your going for it, it brilliant. and as soon as you come off the accelerator it sounds like its shooting thunder out it! pop pop bang!
mine sits VERY low on FK's but the back runs on the bump stops when you have weight in the back! going to raise it a bit again, only slightly.
probably going for H&R or the yozza Bilsteins on my mk1 172 when i get the car and some cash.
only 2 ways to make them faster is loose as much weight as possible (gives you more bhp/ton which is whats most important, and get plenty miles on it.
my old engine on 140k would have murdered my new one with 50k on the clock if i hadn't blown it lol
dont bother wasting money on...
my car handles balls on 16s thats why the turinis are only on because im waiting on wheel spacers for my 15s to fit with the coilovers
15's on 195/45/15 is the future, handles like f**k. especially since its only about an inch from the ground lol
depends how far you cooked them, mine regularly fade quite a bit when hammering it but once i boiled the fluid, pedal went to the floor and done nothing coming to a corner, had to drop it into 2nd at 65mph then first at 30 to slow the thing down in time for a tight blind corner! my disks went a...
