Well as of today i can honestly say the Trophy is a fond yet distant memory. Anyone who slates the 197 really needs to have a long drive or do a trackday in one. Today the Cup took trackday fun to a new level, out the box with no brake upgrades or sticky tyres it was a revelation.

How easy these to fit? Undo clips slide out replace? Anything else?

My wife reckons the 197 is easier to drive than my Trophy & MX5.

Looks even better today it got a proper bath;)

I read a mag & they changed to some new dunlops & did back to back tests against contis & the dunlops were miles better. JT confirmed it on RS.

Been car less for ages & got trackday booked for this coming friday, so bought this today;)

I'd rather the newer car with renault picking up the bills for replacing items;) I think a few of the non believers would change their minds esp on track the 197 is awesome, with cup pack. Had a trophy for 2 yrs, so the benchmark moves on :rasp:

You leave a deposit on a car at a main dealer, you change your mind you get your money back. Same with deposits on house plots on new builds, money back no probs. This is 'private' so it's up to you what you do, but think what if it was you in his shoes!
