Toyo R888's awesome. Gave a humming down the straight but found out later was build up of rubber on rear tyres. Brakes; thinking either Brembo high carbon or max, with either ebc red, padgid blue or ds 2500 or 3000's.

While most you were polishing & the like :sleepy: i was taking the trophy round Donington. New tyres are awesome takes car to a different level, just found the limits of the brakes. So they are next on the list. It was just like the evo edition, 'giant killer' all over again.:butt:

He's only had it for a couple of weeks, was for sale on CT last year. So if you buy it you will be third owner with 2k miles :S

Right there fitted & there is ahuge difference. The ride was firm, now rock hard, noisey or what, pick everything up that car travels over. Steering was sharp now pin point, but all will fall into place on Sat. Just removing the glase off them & bedding them in.

Same driver in boths cars would agree with my first statement, I like the yellow but prefere the drive of the trophy ;)

Got a set of 195/50/15 Toyo R888's to go on these, turinis & exaltos if it's wet.

Should do with all your products;) That spray was so easy to use & this is the finish it gives after just washing.

I'm doing this at present, keeping my 16's for road use & getting 15's for trackdays. ( cheaper tyres ) Doing it on a budget i got some mk 1 172 alloys & will use toyo R888's. The offset on the alloys i have got is as close as the standard whells i could get...

Too early to tell, better now i've upped the pressures. Running goodyear f1's, but will be replaced with R888's later this week.

Exaltos won't show in the test cause only limited sizes. Exaltos best by far i've had in the wet & they last. Only go off when near markers. Also if that list is anything to go by some big back handers were dished out;)

No these have Goodyear F1's at present just trying them out. Thought 30+ was a bit high :S

Saving a few quid on rubber is foolish, it's the only thing in contact with the road. Michelins are by far the best 'all' weather tyre.

I was 'black' & no way was the wife letting me get in her new motor in that state.

Damn missed this car was in bits on the drive.

Just bought a set of alloys & they have above tyres on. Set of four 5mm + minimum tread depth. Asking as not allowed offers in for sale section :mad:

Heading towards coventry on the M69 4.0pm.

Sell it private, should see 10K with that mileage. I got offered red r27 with a couple of options for £14.2 Waiting for teething troubles to be sorted out before i look serious. Kangarooing, quality issues etc etc.

Was told to run 195's as they rub in 205 on rear on trophy. These are just for trackdays in my case.
