Could be over fuel due to the map, this will then cause a bit of bore wash and increase oil usage.
My 182 is on 180k and has a custom map on it but I use the correct Renault elf oil, change every 6k and it uses about 0.5L between changes. I get some extra fuelling on cold start even over what a...
All completely unwarranted @chris blue
I've run spacers on a stud kit for nigh on ten years on my track cars now. And that's on full slicks as well
If you fit them and then have the car geo'd there will be no additional wear to tyres
Running kW variant 2 and a ACS motorsport roll c centre correction kit @ZachB
The discs came with the kit when I bought it already machined and good to go. It was all second hand so not sure where previous owner actually sourced the parts, I'm just going on what he told me they were!
I didn't even realise I had copied him until he posted on my pic on Instagram, and then I went back and realised I had liked his pic on there in the first place
subconscious mimicking!
@ZachB
I'm on the Willwood calipers, they fit with the Avensis discs under 15" wheels
pic shows from front with 15" ET36 Superleggera and rear shot was with my original Speedline Maracanã wheels on which are also 15" and ET36 but 6.5J instead of 7J
Tyres fitted today and clean (ish) bill of health for all 5 F1's. Two with slight buckles but barely anything and everything balanced up fine so I'm more than chuffed in all honesty.
I'll seal them up and get some pics once the centre caps are back from the paint shop!
Worst wheel took this...
I think around 5 years ago they were ripe for killing as finances made sense. Now unless you need a load of bits it's just hassle.
Then again maybe I'm just old and lazy now, I dealt out the final hand to enough cars I think and nagging regret over the Williams' I've murdered is haunting me still
inner tie rods and rack mount bushings plus ARB bushes and wishbone bushes are all likely to want to doing
and rod ends and lower ball joints if not already done
MOT pass doesn't mean not worn, these cars are pushing 14 years now
Depends what your expectations are, imo a couple of grand will buy you a solid enough car. But the truly good ones are going to be more to prise away from thier owners
