on the off chance perhaps, but 10 times out of 10 for me its been injector

as above, easiest check is just to unplug each injector in turn and listen to engine note change, no change = fubar injector

same as above, tried all sorts and now just change them every couple of years instead, started using the cheaper 20 quid none sport ones in the 1*2's as well, quality is basically the same and look nearly as good

epic, so much want and tbh very nicely priced for the spec and effort put in! may take up the Australia delivery as well ;)

Tiny update, thought I'd treat her to a magic tree and try starting her again, first turn. So came back inside, watched telly and did my ironing, went back out,tried her again... First time again. Seems a magic tree fixes immobiliser issues in old Renaults :-P

Getting exciting now!! Deadlines are there to be missed, so do it once, do it right and screw the timings ;-)

yeah I could do, was in two minds but if I did do that i'd have to go round and satin black all the rest of the plastics to match too (I'm bit OCD like that) plus I think some slight fading on the plastics is not the end of the world, provided the patina is there uniformly it'll be in keeping...
