I've got the same to mount, did you use the odyssey terminals to connect to standard wiring? and what cage did you use? i'm keeping o/e location too for ease of fitment tbh

Depends on vpn connection, we don't allow split tunnelling at work so can't access local Internet whilst vpn to site is active

oh and here is my phase 1 rust candid snaps, not rotten, in fact not bad at all really. I'll be scrubbing the worst off, giving it a good fettle with a prodding stick to test structural integrity and then coating in the fabled hammerite kurust.
Decided to have a crack at cleaning the rear of the car fully to remove the dog hair today...... things escalated quickly!!! lol!

Cracking work and good job on thinking everything through over and over to make it all 'work' as a functional, practical to an extent, competition vehicle.
Couple more niggles sorted tonight, when indicating right the fog light light on the dash kept coming on, i'd already cleaned up the earths so it was the cluster itself on the rear of the car
so fitted new light panels I had in shed to it from phase 1 I broke years ago, sorted!

as above, piece of piss to change and no programming needed.
torx bits remove engine cover, 10/13mm deepsocket to get fuel rail guard off. 10mm remove the two retaining bolts for rail itself then prise the rail off, it'll feel like it ssticking a bit as the o ring seals hold it into the head on...
lol! no worries at all chap, I'm particularly OCD when it comes to this sort of thing, everyone always mentions how 'clean' my knackered old cars always smell inside. so when others can smell nothing I can! lol!!
Also received and fitted the boot net loops that were missing, removed the spare to add to the 4 other F1's from the car to be Powdercoated at some point
and I then removed and cleaned the boot carpet as previous owner has had a dog in the car and the boot is covered in hair and...
More progress today now the nights are longer!
I want to clean the arches etc when I fit the coilovers so decided against fitting them today but did the rear axle spacers and top engine mount insert though so that's done!
That means provided weather holds Saturday I can have a nice fun day...
