You can get them off easily enough. If you leave them on for years then they are more difficult, and more likely to damage the paint. Repairs to the wrap would need the pros though...
Just realised the difference. The front clam has been moved closer to the floor, so they've put a standard Exige splitter on. You can see how much deeper the Motorsport splitter is in this (smashed up!) pic...
Think i'll have to get them to change it back after the race! Looks weedy now.
First photo of one of the cars on track from last week...
For me the wrap looks a bit odd, like the car is out of proportion! Maybe just need to get used to it. Does look less messy now though...
But i'll miss the depth of colour from Azure Blue! Looked awesome in the sun.
Getting more...
PMSL @ Welsh!!
Impressive figures, but reading 9FF's exploits in proving their cars were Veyron beaters in Evo magazine, they didn't see that impressive. For me, there is no point taking on Bugatti's engineering, and although not common, this isn't the first road car with over 1000bhp.
Yep, sounds amazing. That is the Loaded CSL, before it went mental. Full Supersprint exhaust, mani and supposedly made 420bhp, so must have had a bit of engine work too.

Gally sent us a vid too. Good admin Cliosport, good admin.
They actually look great in red, but it is a bit wannabe Ferrari.
Its called Formula Red Ali.
I don't see why there is an argument about it, its not what this thread was for. The verdict on this debate has been done many-a-time by a ton of car magazines, where the M3 always ends up on top as the better all-rounder. You've either never picked a magazine up, or are blinkered.
Hardly like-for-like but i see your point! A car like this should have a geo setup anyway, as it is very easy to knock things out of alignment and suspension/steering components wear easily. For the sake of a couple of hundred it is worth doing, as it will transform the car.
Drive an Elise and a VXT back to back and there is a big difference!
The VXT is soft, understeers and the heavy engine makes it 'interesting' when pressing on. All VXs have very safe setups because the target market was different. At a minimum, they need a more aggressive geo set up. Ideally...
That is perfect. I would kill everyone in this thread to own it. Maybe not Christopher, he's only little.
I'd kill everyone in this thread and maim Christopher.
Could have been unregistered for a while, as there are load of '04 CSLs despite them all being made in a batch in 2003.
As Ali says though, LED upgrades are common (and needed IMO!). Of course the M3 didn' get the revised front lights so otherwise the 'facelift' was pretty pathetic. Only...
To be anal, the steel grey was discontinued and switched to silver grey (when they were 'facelifted' with the LED lights, revised suspension and minor changes as Hughesclio has said).
