Been looking into buying wife a new car, over past three weeks seen some of the worst cars available private. So decided to bite bullet & get a nearly new one. Been searching & eventually found an unregistered 07 facelift scenic. Got told it's an import, thought fair enough it's cheap. Now...

The past two weekends i've done close to 660 miles & have not been spotted. Been to Rugby, Leamington, Solihull, Sheffield & Wakefield :S

Time to sort out new policy, need loan car, protected bonus, small excess & possiblity of doing a track day with or without additional premiums. NUD are high £300's but air india has no comprende' of what a track day is :S Any suggestions??

If your car is in excellent condition, hold out for the money as renault alarms are crap anyway. Once the warranty has run out, i don't see a difference. Condition is all important!

^^^^good luck with the bad back ;) We sold a golf 5dr as it didn't have good access (audi a3 is same car). When the kid is tiny it's easy, it's when they start getting bigger you will struggle, been there done that.

My trophy is one of the cheapest cars to run i have owned. Scooby, now they are costly.

Forget a five door etc, you will soon get a bad back, as access is crap. With a spare wheel & tray in the boot i've got enough room for a bunch of flowers. Daughter likes sitting in the front of mine. Tell her to get a scenic, you can't get a better family car. We are soon to get...

Get an old toothbrush & trim down to about 3/4mm. Works a treat, old polish, road grime etc etc.
