only reason i put it in was for the cleaning properties, what ive noticed now is even when cold you can hold the revs totaly steady it used to jump up and down slightly, must just be after a good optimax clean :)

optimax makes a nice difference to my car (1.2 16v with induction kit) pulls through the revs smoother (not faster!) and when you start it when cold it idles much better. best thing to do is run it right down low when your petrol lights on then try half a tank or so of optimax and see how it goes
