@Alistair14 - you’re representing the club here so need to start behaving.
Please look in your staff rulebook, section 8 (just past the “Tips on getting members to send nudes” section) and re-educate yourself on the rules set out about stereotyping certain cars, being homophobic etc etc.
Upper grills are straight swap as @197. pointed out for you mate.
Probably a better idea to get springs if you just want lows and in particular wanting to spend as little as possible.
Look for the H&R springs mate, 40/30 drop. MK3's always sit nice on the H&R's!

Didn’t quite know what headlight assist was but upon Googling it, it dips the main beam off when there is oncoming vehicles. This world is going mad, soon there will be “start the engine assist”.
Welcome along mate, if all is well with it then that is a bargain. I’d definitely think about getting your cambelt and six belt replaced though especially with no history. That’s one thing that will turn that from a bargain in to a money pit if the belt goes and the pistons kiss.

Ball joints - turn the wheel from one full lock to the other full lock and listen for squeaks.
Gearbox (although slightly revised from the 197) - get the car to 5k revs in third and shift to 4th. See how smooth or unsmooth it is.
