I think it was a round 750, but I'd have to look back (taking into consideration they painted it too). You do get what you pay for though, it's a nice bit of kit for a half cage.
This was with the group buy discount which was started buy Neil in the group buy section.
Again, thanks for the comments guys! Makes me considerably more chuffed at the choice .
Someone requested another picture of the interior, theres really not a lot to see besides the cage lol. Front door cars were supplied by Neil who formally worked for Fast Car, and have been flocked to a...
1.7k at twenty one is not that unreasonable even with 4 years NCB. If you can get 750 then by all means go for it, but I wouldn't fancy putting a claim in.
If I did some research I definitely wouldn't be buying a Plasma :) Ok so everything is a dying technology, that was kind of a blanket statement really. Fact is though the benefits of Plasma panels don't justify owning one with current LCD technology. If you want to disagree you can, but I'm not...
Yeah, Andy not being funny mate but I'd be taking it back to TDF and asking them to get a look at it, even if it's unrelated to the top end rebuild, they know the car.
For a start your cam cover definitely needs resealing. If you tell them they'll do at least that under warranty
Has Fred...

Life expectancy of 2 years can fck right off..
+ power drain.. 400w plasma vs what, 40? extra cost of running a tv for better blacks? LCDs can match plasmas in most areas these days if you do some research. It's a dying form factor tbh
hah, thought I just read a handful of people rating plasma units.
The only thing plasma panels were ever good for were colour and contrast ratio. You'd have to be nuts to buy into one now.
Projectors are awesome for the big occasion / movie but not really an alternative to having a TV ( f**k...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Love you : D
It is always one step forwards two steps back half the time though. Beeches Recovery who collected the car have fcuked the front wing so I'm having to respray it. They've agreed to cover the costs, but besides the point
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Sadly not mate it's tucked up waiting to be finished up. Its a Bit ropey without a live cal, very flat. Plus it cuts out due to a dodgey crank signal. So il give it a miss ;)On the upside Mr Neil has donated (for a price) his super awesome wiring loom which was...
Cheers for all the comments. With the colour in particular I was looking for a contrast between something subtle and which suited the car, but still definitely nice to look at. As someone has already pointed out it is Porsche Black Grey which is on the 2011 GT3 RS. Lunar grey was another option...
The cars far from finished, it still needs a new wiring loom and an engine calibration, few bits to go on, but whilst it's in one piece more or less - I'm really pleased with it
Would never of thought it would be this much better. The cars sound amazing, the 599 GTO is bang on! Have only done a handful of races but bought an R32 Skyline rwd converted + Top Gear circuit = hours of fun
The twin barrel cat as you've already pointed out are pretty free flowing anyway. If you dig up some old threads you might see a before and after. Either way theres not a lot of power to be had, especially if your cars standard.
IMO, and this is coming from someone who has one, don't bother...
