i totally agree with that. Even if a car was a category write off, sometimes it can be repaired so that its as good as new and in better condition than a similar non categorised car. Paintwork will prob be much better (if done properly), and if new parts are being used suspension etc will be in...
couple of bhp on a remap if that. Manifold will do nothing, the 1.2s have the best manifolds possible for the engine. Stainless manifolds can be made, but will cost 500 - 600 quid and wont give you any gains. Wont fail emmisions, mine even passed with a sports cat
lovely jubbly! looks best with the 15s on ;) as said before, nice to see a car being driven, my car came with 12k, and 2 years later sold it with 50k :approve:
people drive like dicks generally, not just people in lower engined cars, so cant really label people with 'low powered engine attitude' etc etc.
I drive much more like a dick in my 172 than i did in my 1.2 ;)
nothing the cars done, if your paying that much for it u dont wanna be spending extra. Thats what i was saying about its best to buy a standard car and spending your money on it to make it how you want.
you can put a 1.6 rear beam on it but not worth it in all honesty
^ dont bother it just draws attention to the fact you have drums and not discs all round. You can choose size of back box, silencers etc.
dont bother changing the lights i've been there done that and bought the t-shirt and non looked right bar standard really
lmao you wont be able to afford to buy anything if your gonna buy that for 4800 ;)
i'd go for a powerflow custom exhaust and choose the noise u want. lights were cack didnt fit properly. i'd keep the standards. If your getting tints dont have them ridiculously black as they look toss, go for...
yeah to be honest i nearly bought a silver one, and with the right wheels to break up the colour they can look stunning (ie carbon copys, mr stabbys munchkins, fubars etc etc).
Another thing to look out for is that silver cars normally sell for much less, you can pick an average mileaged one...
no probs matey, titaniums were british cars so had properly laquered wheels so not a problem, however all silver cars are boring ;)
There should be a lot more for sale after christmas, only a couple for sale at the mo on pistonheads.com, but keep checking as its a really good site.
it may be possible with cams but not worth the effort, your talking well over a grand then u'd need a straight through exhaust, induction, remap etc etc
dont change the induction! its the best system for the ph1, its sacralidge to take it off. Put in a k and n panel or itg and be done. As for exhausts i'm getting the yozzasport road system. Other than that you've got prospeed who are good at custom jobbies, magnex sound nice if you want a quiet...
