i love this myth about clio gearboxes, dont turbo it it will break the box, dont supercharge it the box wont take it dont fit a K&N filter the extra power will eat the box.... how many people actually have issues with the boxes apart from the cars that have been humped about wheelspinning...
although the VVT doesnt adjust at 5,000rpm, if it isnt adjusting at all (even at 1800) then its going to run out of steam high up the revs (ie over 5k) so id be looking at the dephaser

possible but surely it would pull to one side both under acceleration and at speed, its pulling from side to side especially when crossing the lines in middle of the road, just like tramlining but worse
tyres done about 1k before the geometry was done as i wanted to wait till it had a new set on it before i done it but then had to do a long trip so got it done so they had a bit of uneaven wear on them so thought that could cause it
what could cause a clio 172 to wander over the road? its happening on full throttle under hard acceleration, its not torque steer as its not a thing its done untill recently. so far ive tried...

springs from a 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v WILL fit a 1.2 16v no problem. just they are designed for a heavyer engine, i know APEX just do one set for the full non RS range dunno about eibach
keep the caps off man, needs a monsterous set of brakes behind the front wheels and xenons! then a nice wee 2.0 under the bonnet or even better put a 2.2 dci in it lol
