So, I get there and it's filthy. Got the wrong carpet in it (cup carpet) and it's had a headlight and a new front wing at some point. And the rear bumper is mullered. I carry on looking as it's got some lovely bits on it (new bilsteins, pms ARB, spacers, stud kit, brand new sabelt steering...

I've done loads of them. If you turn the ignition on and put all your lights on (so you can see the issue) and then grab the plug on the back of the light and half pull it off. It goes really tight just before it comes off completely. Leave it at the tight point. If this cures the fault then...

Mine are only allowed 30 supervised minutes a week each so they have very little chance of damaging it. But I get your point though.
