As far as I'm aware the long and short of it is that the Gen90 is basically just a gems ECU anyway - as is the Omex 600. I doubt you'd miss any of the Gen90s "features"
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
LOL, that was with 428 cams too mind you.
LOL nah I managed to empty it in the workshop trying to get a few bits working
It's got some shitty 95 in there atm
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
not a problem at all. The cold start map can sometimes need a bit of tweaking during the colder months.. but nothing that'll stop you from using it day to day.
I'll own one one day... and yes they're not super quick but er hello you're driving a Clio with a V6 in the boot - recipe for big grins all round. Until you're forced to do a 3 point turn
I kid you not, I drove past a Scenic that was burning to the ground on the way back from work last night... I was going to stop for photos but they were just standing there helpless. "Right, bye!" Would of felt like a c**t
Must remember to get my extinguisher serviced
That paint is AWFUL!!!! Sorry but I couldn't hold back
Nice cars though, just a tad overstated imo. Much respect for the Focus power plants though, brilliant conversion
Very much so, although it's quite out-dated now.
You might want to have a look here if you're thinking of purchasing new

Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
Top secret, plus it's thread hijacking ;)
The subframes aren't modified, Olly. I drilled the seats as low as I could to make the ride height acceptable
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
Mine aren't recaros, only the subframes ;) They're fibre glass, and unbranded.. but they're comfy as hell and I don't really fancy changing them (not yet anyway)
Some people dislike it, but if the cabin vibration is intolerable it's probably fitted incorrectly. Makes the car feel a lot firmer through lower gear changes
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
The recaro subframes are too high yes. I've modified mine to sit lower though as couldn't be arsed changing them
Your brake lines will be fine for now mate, honestly. Just don't take it on track like that as you'd definitely boil the fluid...
