    French cars... reliably unreliable

As said, they genrally are fairly robust/reliable outwith the electrical niggles - in no way shape or form are they anymore unreliable then their counterparts.

Clio 182 CAT D, too much of a gamble?

Sorry but if you take 33% odd off an already cheap car then it can hardly be worth selling, i couldn't insult someone so much, personally.

    I keep wanting a v6

You do not fettle with a V6 IMO.

Clio 182 CAT D, too much of a gamble?

You think they'll take £495 off if you turn up with a bag of sand? I highly doubt that.

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

Great cars, Gaz - if i could find a 250 with Recaro's and xenons i'd be all over it but finding one with both isn't easy or the wrong colour.. These 250's are buttons now, i cannot believe how cheap they are now.

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

But they still have that 'edge' though from a petrol heads point of view, don't they? I know to the common motorist 1*2's look like normal Clio's but even the Mk3 looks 'normal' to petrol heads lol. I still like it though... I'm unsure flared arches would have saved it though - that gearbox has...

    fiesta st quick??

The Clio bashing is the best bit for me, as a matter of course - most of you will be back. The Fiesta ST is a stunning piece of kit and great value, the Clio was once that icon not 10 years ago, different ponies for different beaches!
